Aaron Harrison

Aaron Harrison

Born on the Westbank of New Orleans, LA and raised as a military kid in Camp Lejeune, NC, Aaron is a proud two-time honor graduate of Xavier University of Louisiana. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and later a Master of Arts in Teaching. Her love of science and literature, coupled with her commitment to increasing literature in her community, naturally led her to pursue a career in teaching. For over 13 years, she has served the Greater New Orleans area as a dedicated STEM and Special Education teacher, working with students from elementary through 12th grade.

Aaron is enthusiastic about joining STEM Library Lab as the new Client Services Coordinator. She finds joy in being the first of many friendly faces welcoming all to the space and being a guiding support to teachers and all members of the education community. She is a firm believer in the notion that "supported teachers produce successful students."

In her free time, Aaron enjoys writing and exploring. She is a published author of two literary works, including an Amazon Best-Seller. She enjoys taking in all that the vibrant city of New Orleans has to offer, including visiting museums, attending festivals, and riding her electric scooter through the French Quarter.
