Danny Sackett (He/They) is from Tacoma, Washington, and graduated from the University of Puget Sound in 2023 with a degree in Studio Art. While studying art, Danny served as the graphic designer and social media lead for the university’s health center.

After graduating, Danny served with AmeriCorps NCCC, where they fought wildland fires, assisted with prescribed burns, and supported trail maintenance projects. They continued their AmeriCorps service with the STL Emergency Response Team, assisting with the response to Hurricane Helene, removing invasive plant species, and supporting wildland fire response efforts. Danny later worked with a fundraising organization that supported schools with their fundraising efforts.

Danny is excited to bring their commitment to community service, artistic creativity, and resource accessibility to STEM Library Lab as the Outreach Coordinator. A creative mind with a passion for connecting people with opportunities, Danny is excited to help spread the word about the amazing work happening at STEM Library Lab. You can find him photographing our events, creating social media content, and finding new ways to connect our community with the resources STEM Library Lab has to offer.
